Summer 2017 – Imagination Rules Week 7: Art Around the World
Week 7 of Imagination Rules is full. If you would like to place your child's name on the wait list for this week please e-mail Miss Kate with your child's name, age, and your phone number.
This week campers will explore different types of Art Around the World! The different types of art – in all forms – that can be found around the world will be used to inspire our campers this week to create some of their very own.
Imagination Rules is our half-day summer camp for children ages 5-7. A typical day for our Imagination Rules campers includes two sessions dedicated to learning about art and art-making and a break at 10:15am for snack. With our younger campers, we focus on the basics of art, color, line, texture, etc., and study the work of famous artists like Picasso, Matisse and Grandma Moses. Campers will complete between 4-6 projects weekly, depending on how many days they are registered. Parents can also choose a 3-day option (usually Monday, Wednesday & Friday) for any of our Imagination Rules camps.
Monday – Friday, 9am – 12pm
August 14 – 18, 2017
Prices are per week: $140 for members / $150 for not-yet-members
Please note that all of our camps are peanut and tree nut free. If your child has serious allergies or health conditions that our staff should be aware of please contact Kate prior to your child's camp week.
*The projects found in camp descriptions are meant as examples only to clarify the week's theme. Actual projects may – and probably will! – vary.
