Funding for Community-Based Arts Education
Saratoga Arts announced a new addition to the Arts Education Grant Funding Category. In addition to funding short term residencies taking place in prek-12 public school settings, artists and organizations can now apply for AE funding to support programs/residencies for youth or seniors taking place in community-based settings!
Community-Based Arts Education Grants & In-School Arts Education Grants ranging $500-$3,000 are available to eligible Fulton, Montgomery, & Saratoga Counties-based non-profit cultural organizations and individual artists.
Basic Eligibility:
- Proposed program will take place in a community-based setting (i.e. library, senior center, community center, etc.)
- Must include three contact sessions between the artist and the same core group of youth or senior-aged students
- The lead applicant must be an artist or non-profit cultural organization
