On Thursday July 21st Arts Spark officially launched by holding a fun, informative, and hands on, launch party. The fun filled evening was held in Malta, New York, at Creative Corks, and allowed guests to learn more about Arts Spark, our future plans, and share our excitement.  The event featured delicious food from the Ripe Tomato and great background music from jazz guitarist Pete Weise. With a variety of things going on and an excellent atmosphere the launch party was very successful.

The event featured tutorials and demonstration tables, to acquaint individuals who attended the event with how Arts Spark works and what we offer.

At the event we were extremely excited to announce more features for the Arts Spark community including:

  • Seminar/Professional Development Series Announcement – our first seminar will be at the end of September discussing Marketing Your Brand.  Following that, watch for quarterly events on a variety of topics.
  • Searchable Artist Database – by year end, we will have a searchable artist database online that Arts Spark will market to a wide variety of audiences.

These features will be in addition to our discussion community, website builder, and marketing advice, that Arts Spark has already established. We hope that everyone is just as excited as we are to see the Arts Spark community grow.

Event goers also had the opportunity to sign our awesome Arts Spark canvas which we hope continues to gather signatures and tags as more individuals become members of the community.

We are so excited that Arts Spark is out in the public’s eye and ready to start growing. We have heard a lot of great ideas and are looking forward to hearing more new thoughts, ideas, and concepts, that you feel are important for us to take into consideration while we continue to expand this amazing resource for creatives.
